Opening the Settings Window

The Settings Window lets you configure various components of the ISP Internet Accelerator. To access the settings screen:

  1.  Right click on the ISP Internet Accelerator icon, which appears in your system tray as shown in the image below:

  1. The program menu popup with the following set of options is displayed:

  1. Click “Settings…” to open the Settings screen.

  1. The ISP Internet Accelerator settings screen is displayed, opened to the Quality Settings tab:

 

Tip: An alternate way to open the settings screen is to simply double click the “ISP Internet Accelerator” icon in the system tray.

The tab settings adjust the following parameters:

Image Quality - Allows you to select the image quality level of web pages or E-mail messages. 

Automatic - Automatically enables or disables acceleration for selected e-mail clients.

AuthenticationWhere Internet Service Provider user ID and password are entered.

 

Authentication Settings

You must provide a valid user id and password to obtain Internet acceleration. Enter a user ID and password that has  been provided for acceleration service. User ID and password are case sensitive. After the initial log-on, the user ID and password can be stored in your password list preventing the need to re-enter this information in the future.

  1. Enter your user ID in the User ID field.

  2. Enter your user password in both the User Password and Confirm Password fields.

  3. To save your password in the password list so it won't have to be re- entered, select the "Save Password…" option.

  4. Select "OK".

NOTE: Not entering a valid user name and password will cause a User ID and Password entry screen to appear in your web browser when attempting to access a web page for the first time.
