Uninstalling the ISP Internet Accelerator If you are having problems accessing Internet content while using this application, please understand the following. Often times there are problems that exist at the content provider site that prevent web pages from being displayed. Other times considerable amounts of Internet traffic cause pages not to appear or to load irregularly. These problems are beyond the scope of this application or your Internet Service Provider. Rather than uninstall the application, try disabling acceleration temporarily. This can be done very easily. To disable web acceleration see Enabling/Disabling Acceleration for Web Browsing. To disable e-mail acceleration see Enabling/Disabling Acceleration for E-mail. Remember to turn acceleration back on at a later time.
Before uninstalling the ISP Internet Accelerator, you must first disable any e-mail applications or profiles that are currently being accelerated by this product. Failure to do so may require you to manually re-configure your mail account settings in Outlook. If you need help in doing this, see the Automatic Settings instructions. VERY IMPORTANT: If removing this application from a Windows NT, Windows 2000 Professional based computer, you must be logged in as a user with administrative rights for the uninstall process to be successful. To uninstall the ISP Internet Accelerator select the “Uninstall” option from the ISP Internet Accelerator from the Programs list.
An optional method of uninstalling is to access “Add/Remove Programs” from your Windows control Panel. Highlight ISP Internet Accelerator and press the Add/Remove button.
Follow the on-screen instructions for the remainder of the uninstall process. |
